The White Horse Inn - The Restaurant
We like to know where our food comes from. That’s why we always try to use fresh, locally sourced ingredients in every dish we prepare.
Our core daily menu is served from Monday to Saturday and is made up of a selection of our favourites, and the most popular dishes we serve. The Sunday lunch menu has a selection of starters, main courses including roasts, and desserts with excellent value set price options for one, two or three courses. In addition to our normal menus, we serve a selection of dishes from our specials menu which changes daily. Our menus often vary to represent the ingredients that are in season at the time.
Our wine list has been compiled to be concise yet diverse, in terms of both origin and grape variety. All of our distinctive wines are available by the glass or the bottle, and have been specially selected with choice and value in mind. We also serve a selection of Real Ales, including some old favourites and guest ales; the Real Ales list has more details on which ales we are currently serving.
Reservation Policy
We take reservations for tables in the seating area of the pub and the newly built dining area, but we also have a number of tables opposite the bar which are available on a “first come, first served” basis and may be occupied by people just drinking, or by people who wish to dine. So, even when we are fully booked, there is always a possibility of being able to get one of the other tables. Please contact us for more details.
